Terms and Conditions for Competition
These terms and conditions govern this Competition. The competition organisers are Lemon Tree Trust. By accepting the Terms & Conditions of the competition and subsequently submitting your images, you have entered into an agreement with Lemon Tree Trust.
Entry
By entering the competition, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to comply fully with them. The competition and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed in accordance with English law.
Photos should be related to the theme of bringing joy from the garden in to your home.
Entries must be submitted by Instagram, Facebook or by email to [email protected].
Lemon Tree Trust cannot be held responsible for entries that are not received.
Only one entry per person will be considered. Photos should be a maximum of 5MB.
By submitting images to Lemon Tree Trust, entrants confirm that:
- they are the creator of the entry and that it is their original work
- they own the copyright and any other intellectual property rights of the image
- they have the permission of anyone pictured in the image (or, where the image shows any persons under 18, the consent of their parent/guardian) for the usage rights required by Lemon Tree Trust
As an entrant you agree that we will use your photograph and/or text you have given in reasonable publicity, for example, the publication of photograph(s) and text supplied with your name on the Lemon Tree Trust website, on social media and printed material.
The winner and other entrants may be asked to take part in promotional activities.
The competition is open to anyone except those directly involved with the competition or Lemon Tree Trust and/or the judging (including their friends, families and relatives).
The closing date for submissions is 20 January 2023. All submissions received after this time will not be eligible. Please note that sending entries is not proof of receipt.
The winner will be announced after 27 January 2023.
Lemon Tree Trust reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of this competitions at any given time.
Judging
Submissions will be judged by the Lemon Tree Trust team in Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Judges will select images based on the relevance to the theme of bringing joy from the garden in to your home, originality and creativity. The decision of judges is final.
One Grace Alexander Flowers book – Grow and Gather is available as a prize. The winner will be contacted either through the relevant social media channel – Facebook or Instagram or by email. There is no cash alternative and the prize is non-transferrable.
We will use our best efforts to ensure the prize is posted to the prize winner. However, where delivery is not possible through our delivery partners to specific locations, Lemon Tree Trust is under no obligation to send the prize. If all routes of delivery are not possible Lemon Tree Trust will send the prize to an alternative entrant.
The name of the winner can be obtained from 28 January 2023 by emailing [email protected].
Use of your data
Lemon Tree Trust is committed to respecting and protecting your personal data. Any information collected as part of this competition will not be shared with any third party with the exception of those included within our privacy policy. We will only use data received as part of this competition to communicate with you about the competition and send updates to you about the work of Lemon Tree Trust. You can unsubscribe at any time.
