Lemon Tree Trust show garden elements being used in RHS Chelsea’s new ‘repurposed’ feature garden

We are thrilled that elements from our 2018 RHS Chelsea show garden are being used in the new ‘repurposed’ feature garden at this year’s flower show.
RHS Chelsea Repurposed will bring together elements from several show gardens dating back as far as 2010 to highlight creative ways of reusing and recycling materials in garden design.
The repurposed feature garden has been designed by Darryl Moore of Cityscapes and will re-use the Islamic inspired fountain and concrete benches from our 2018 garden, providing a focal point and places to rest within the garden.
The 2018 Lemon Tree Trust garden, designed by Tom Massey, highlighted the unexpected beauty hidden in refugee and IDP (internally displaced people) camps and the importance of gardens to displaced people trying to rebuild their lives. It attracted incredible attention, bringing our work to the thousands of visitors and millions of people who saw the garden on TV and other media, and we were proud to receive an RHS Silver-Gilt Medal.
Our thanks to the RHS, Darryl Moore of Cityscapes, Tom Massey and Landscape Associates for helping to bring Lemon Tree Trust back into the limelight at RHS Chelsea this year.
