Library introduced to the Azadi Community Garden

We’ve set up a mini library in our lounge area of the Azadi Community Garden in Domiz 1 camp. It’s a small way we can help our children to grow and flourish.

Right now we only have a few books in our cabinet but we will continue to add to our small collection so that when children visit us, they can enjoy some stories and practice their reading.

For the children, this is of course in addition to helping their mums in the garden and enjoying our menagerie of chickens, ducks, rabbits and cats!

We hope to add some lovely picture books about gardening to our shelves soon, inspired by many of your fantastic suggestions. We were delighted to hear people’s favourite books as a child over on Instagram.

Help us expand our community garden library in Domiz 1 camp

Make a donation so that we can buy more children’s books for our Azadi library.
