Lemon Tree Trust featured by Real Bread Campaign

We are thrilled to announce that Lemon Tree Trust has been featured on Real Bread Campaign’s website and in it’s printed magazine.
The article, “Savouring the Taste of Home”, highlights our work at the Azadi Community Garden in Domiz 1 camp, where residents make traditional Syrian flatbreads – khubz – as a reminder of home. The recipe and story emphasise the importance of preserving culinary heritage and fostering community, and we share what bread-making means to one of our gardeners and residents of Domiz 1, Saerrana Hussein Jannabi.
We are grateful to Real Bread for showcasing our efforts to bring comfort and belonging to displaced communities. Read more here.
For those interested, the Real Bread Campaign has also shared the full recipe for khubz on their site. You can find it here.
