Caroline Hood runs the London Marathon in support of Lemon Tree Trust
Massive congratulations and thanks to our first-ever marathon runner, Caroline Hood, for running the London Marathon in support of Lemon Tree Trust.
The 26.2-mile London Marathon is Caroline’s first race, having discovered a love for running around a year ago.
Caroline has raised over £1,600 for Lemon Tree Trust.
We can’t thank Caroline enough for her brilliant fundraising efforts, as well as Caroline’s amazing friends and family for their generous donations.
The funds will enable us to make a greater impact in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq through our gardening activities – bringing hope, beauty and joy to hundreds of displaced people there. (Find out more about out work.)

Caroline says:
“Everything went really well on the day, it was definitely a pretty massive challenge but I had a fabulous day and finished with an official time of 6 hours and 1 minute which I am absolutely thrilled with.”
Well done Caroline – what an amazing achievement.
