A Dallas native, Stephanie Hunt is the CEO and Creative Director of Lemon Tree Trust, an organization dedicated to empowering refugees through gardening, horticultural education, and small business enterprises. Stephanie also co-created the Humanitarian Innovation Project (HIP) based at the University of Oxford (now called Refugee Economies) which focuses on bringing innovation, technology, and the private sector to support and encourage refugee economies and self-reliance. With her husband, Hunter, she also co-founded the Hunt Institute for Engineering & Humanity within SMU’s Lyle School of Engineering.

Stephanie is a member of the Board of Governors for The Dallas Foundation, and holds several board positions including the Innovation Advisory Council for UNHCR (the UN’s Agency for Refugees). Additionally, she is on the board of bcWORKSHOP, a Dallas nonprofit focused on urban design, and is a Founding Member of the American Film Institute’s National Council. Stephanie graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Finance. She currently resides in Dallas, Texas with her husband Hunter, and 13 year old triplets.
